pacman

Arch Linux package manager.

pacman is the package manager for Arch Linux and its derivatives (Manjaro, EndeavourOS, Garuda). It combines low-level package handling and dependency resolution in a single fast tool, with a terse but consistent CLI (pacman -S to install, pacman -Syu to update the system, pacman -Q to query).

Together with the Arch Build System and the AUR community repository, pacman is the foundation of Arch's rolling-release model.
